This small cottage at Seifton had been unoccupied for 6 years. It was a two up two down cottage and the client and architect had plans for a complete renovation of the existing building with two new double storey extensions. The larger extension would consist of wood cladding with a glass link to the original buulding. The smaller extension to the rear of the property would have a coloured rendered finish. After having completely gutted the existing building we started on building the extensions. The whole job took nine months. I used several quality tradesmen including carpenters, plasterers, electricians, plumbers, tilers and bricklayers. The clients were very pleased with the job, they visited regularly and I always spent time informing them of progress and any issues we had. Since completing this job I have undertaken two more large projects for the same clients.
